The History Behind Mahoney Alarms

Mahoney Alarms is a local family-owned, full service alarm company specializing in providing high-tech solutions for commercial, industrial and residential customers.

The business, established in 1950 by Raymond Mahoney Sr., has remained a family enterprise that throughout the years has focused on quality products and exceptional customer service.

Raymond Mahoney Sr., began the business with a vision and an attitude of care and concern for his customers. As a visionary, he set the company’s standards. Over the years, technology has changed tremendously, but the vision and attitude we began with has not. We are constantly on the cutting edge of new technology, but what sets us apart is that we leave the human touch in our business.

Raymond Mahoney Sr., was born in Queens Village, NY. He served in the Marine Corps form 1942 – 1946. He later attended Associated College of Utica and then transferred to the Skidmore College Extension then located in the Academy Building on Chester Street, Glens Falls, NY
