A part-time, weekend Central Station Dispatcher position is available with our regional, well established alarm company. Our central station is located in our Glens Falls, NY office and is manned 24 hours/7 days a week.  Our Central Station Dispatchers handle alarm signals, customer inquiries, provide technical and account support for customers. 


  • Verify, respond and dispatch alarm/emergency signals
  • Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate departments
  • Maintain alarm/customer account information
  • Work closely with field technicians, contractors and customers with logging in/out of accounts and verifying alarm signals


  • Must be proficient with computer, keyboard and telephone
  • Ability to answer phones and direct calls pleasantly and effectively
  • Ability to withstand pressure, remain calm & use good judgement in high paced, crisis situations
  • Must have strong communication skills   
  • Must have positive attitude
  • Must be detailed oriented and organized
  • Must be dependable and reliable
  • Training will be provided
