A part time/weekend Central Station Dispatcher position is available with our regional, well established alarm company. Our central station is located in our Glens Falls, NY office and is manned 24 hours/7 days a week. Our Central Station Dispatchers handle alarm signals, customer inquiries, provide technical and account support for customers.
- Verify, respond and dispatch alarm/emergency signals
- Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate departments
- Maintain alarm/customer account information
- Work closely with field technicians, contractors and customers with logging in/out of accounts and verifying alarm signals
- Must be proficient with computer, keyboard and telephone
- Ability to answer phones and direct calls pleasantly and effectively
- Ability to withstand pressure, remain calm & use good judgement in high paced, crisis situations
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must have positive attitude
- Must be detailed oriented and organized
- Must be dependable and reliable
